Outlet settings

This tab edits one outlet: the one you are currently working in, named at the top of the rail with its city under it. Switch outlet in the dashboard and you are editing a different set of these.

Where the outlet is

Four fields: the outlet name, its country, state and city, the street address, and a phone number.

The country is the one that carries a consequence beyond the address line. Currency follows it, and it is spelled out under the picker — "Orders at this outlet are billed in USD ($), set by the country." Change the country and every price, total and report in the dashboard switches to the new currency immediately, without a reload. Sister outlets keep theirs.

The three location fields move as a unit, so a state without its country is never saved on its own.

The week, and the clock it runs on

Below the address is one row per weekday: an opening time, a closing time, and a Closed tick. Tick Closed and the two time fields give way to the word "Closed"; untick it and the day comes back as 08:00–20:00 for you to adjust.

A new outlet starts open 08:00–20:00 Monday to Saturday and closed on Sunday.

Opening must be earlier than closing on any day you leave open — Wash Junkie will not accept 22:00 to 06:00, so an overnight shift is not something the week can express.

The times you type are local to the outlet. Each outlet carries its own timezone, recorded when the outlet was created, and it decides more than these seven rows: "today" on Billing & usage means today on this outlet's clock, and reports bucket the busiest day and hour in the same zone. A staff member's evening shift running past midnight counts as one day worked, not two. A business spanning two zones has no single today, so each outlet's own boundary is applied to its own figures.

Delivery zones

Pickup zones are the areas this outlet serves. Each one holds a name, an optional radius in kilometres and a delivery fee, and reads back as a line like "5 km · $15.00 delivery fee".

Every zone has a switch. Turning it off greys the row and keeps the record — useful for an area you have stopped covering this month but expect to cover again. Delete asks you to confirm first, and is permanent.

A zone is your own register of where you deliver. The fee that actually lands on an order comes from the business-wide pickup and delivery base fee under Pricing & plans, applied whenever an order has a delivery address and waived over your free-delivery threshold — see Delivery and express.

The other two sections

On-time & turnaround holds this outlet's promised hours for standard, express, dry cleaning and bedding work, the percentage of the deadline at which an order starts warning you, and an auto-apology switch that flags late orders for a goodwill credit. What it drives is in On-time and turnaround.

POS & receipts takes the names of your receipt and label printers, and two switches for what prints: the order QR and the promised due time.
