What each report answers
Reports is a menu. Each card opens its own page, each page carries its own period picker, and the figures on it are for the outlet you are currently signed in to — apart from the customer counts and tiers, which are counted across the whole business.
Each one computed from the events themselves.
The eight
| Report | The question it settles |
|---|---|
| Business summary | Revenue and orders for the period, alongside the customer count and the on-time rate, with a revenue trend and an orders trend beneath them |
| Revenue and finance | Where the money came from, by service and by channel, and how much of it you have collected |
| Orders and operations | Order volume by service, and how many orders are sitting at each status right now |
| On-time and turnaround | How long an order takes end to end, how many met the time you promised, and what is overdue |
| Customer insights | How many customers you have, which tiers they fall into, what they are worth, and whether they come back |
| Staff performance | Actions logged, orders touched, payments taken and machine loads, per staff member |
| Machine efficiency | Cycles run, average cycle time, estimated utilisation and the service queue, per machine |
| Driver performance | Deliveries, time from assignment to delivery, payout and on-time compliance, per driver |
Each one is its own address, so a link to a report is a link somebody else can open, and going back returns you to the menu rather than to the last report you read.
The period lives inside the report
The menu has no period picker on purpose — nothing on it depends on a date range. The picker sits at the top of each report instead: the last 7 days, the last 30 days, 3, 6 or 12 months, all time, or a span you pick on a calendar.
It is the same control the Revenue screen uses, but a preset does not resolve identically everywhere. The summary, revenue and orders figures read 3M, 6M and 12M as whole calendar months, the same way the Revenue screen does; the on-time, staff, machine, driver and cohort figures read them as the last 90, 182 and 365 days. See Revenue and orders for what each preset selects on the money side.
Who can open them
Reports are for the business owner and managers. A staff member without the reports permission gets a plain message saying so rather than an empty page, and the same permission covers the Revenue screen. See Roles and permissions.
Two things the reports will not tell you
A report says nothing it cannot count.
No customer satisfaction score. Ratings are asked for and kept, but they sit on each customer's own record and no report rolls them up. The customer insights report states this at the bottom of the cohorts table rather than leaving you to wonder. See A customer's record.
No route distance for drivers. An order carries a written address and no coordinates, and driver locations are not recorded, so there is nothing to measure a route against. Driver performance says so under the on-time table.
