Two people edited the same order
Two people, one order. Most of the time this settles itself and nobody hears about it. Here is what happens underneath, and what you are being asked on the occasions it reaches you.
Compared field by field
Every queued edit carries what the field said at the moment you made it, and each field is written on arrival only if the order still says that. So you can change the address on #T85G8S2 while Jonas Weber changes the note on the same order and both land. Different fields never collide.
Four fields on an order are compared this way: Address, Notes, Priority and Delivery fee. Customer records do the same with name, phone and email, and so do the services and priced items in your catalogue.
Statuses are not on that list and do not need to be. Moving an order to Drying when it is already at Drying changes nothing, so two people moving the same order the same way is not a clash — it is the same result twice.
When you are asked to choose
If the order moved on before your edit arrived, the change parks as needing attention. Try again re-reads the order as it stands now and compares your edit against it, one field at a time.

Then the chooser appears: "Someone else changed this order while you were offline. Choose which version to keep."
Each disputed field gets two buttons side by side, carrying the real values — Theirs · $5 against Yours · $8, or Theirs · Normal against Yours · Urgent. You are choosing between two amounts you can read, not between two words.
Nothing is picked for you
No option starts selected, and Apply stays off until you have chosen for every field on the card. Hover it before then and it says "Choose a version for each field first". A conflict cannot be cleared by clicking through it.
- Theirs drops your value for that field, and the order goes back to what the other person set.
- Yours writes over theirs.
- Discard, beside Apply, abandons the whole change and leaves the order as the server has it.
Answer one field with theirs and the next with yours if that is what the day calls for. They are separate decisions on the same order, applied together when you press Apply.
If the change is still parked after all this, see A change did not save — an order that has been removed cannot take an edit at all, and Discard is the only way out.
