The live floor
The Wash House screen answers one question all day: what is in every machine right now. It shows the machines belonging to the outlet you are signed in to, in label order, and nothing from any other outlet.

What a machine card tells you
Each card carries the machine's label, whether it is a washer or a dryer, and one word for how it stands. A machine reads busy when an order is loaded on it and idle when it is free, or maintenance or decommissioned when you have marked it as either on the Machines screen.
A busy card also carries the order reference, the customer's name, the status the order is in, how long it has been on that machine, and the name of the staff member who loaded it. The clock counts up from the moment it was loaded, not down towards an ending — Wash Junkie records what your team does, and the machine itself tells it nothing.
Along the bottom of every card is the model, the drum capacity in kilograms where you have entered one, and the machine's lifetime cycle count. That last number rises by one each time a load finishes.

The important word is active. A machine in maintenance is not idle and it is not busy — it is out of the reckoning entirely. An outlet with eight machines, two of them in maintenance and three of the remaining six loaded, shows 3 busy, 3 idle, 8 total machines, and 50% utilisation.
The Show row filters the grid to all, busy, idle or maintenance, and the figure on the right counts the cards you are looking at rather than the fleet.
The wash queue
The second tab lists the orders that are ready for a machine and have not got one: every order at this outlet whose status allows a machine, with no machine against it. They are numbered oldest first, so position 1 has been waiting longest, and each row shows the customer, the reference, the service and the quantity.
By default, four statuses allow a machine — Washing, Drying, Folding and Ironing — so the queue is not only washing. See Moving an order through its statuses for how those switches are set. An order you have removed from the books leaves the queue and stops holding whatever machine it was on.
The Folding area and Staff on floor tabs are placeholders. Wash Junkie does not yet track folding substages or who is standing where, and the screen says so rather than showing you a number nobody measured.
All four roles a business starts with can read the floor. The Load order and Unload buttons only appear for the ones allowed to operate it — see Loading a machine.
